FAITH WALK-
History
On March 23, 2012, during
a simple morning prayer meditation, a call to walk El Camino de Santiago (The
Way) pilgrimage in Spain
blessed me. I had no prior notion or life ambition to attempt this. It was an
unmistakably rich, spirit-filled invitation. God's grace led me in preparation,
and He provided miracles of His provisions to begin this ancient walking
pilgrimage on April 23, 2013. It started on the southern border of France, crossed the Pyrenees
Mountains, and reached the Cathedral
of Santiago 500 miles later on the western
border of Spain.
God blessed me with His
overwhelming peace and presence traveling at foot pace through northern Spain's
mountain landscapes, forests, farms, meadows, and quaint villages.
The pilgrimage was immensely
peaceful and spiritually rich. As a result, I have been emboldened in my
FAITH WALK. My hope is that in sharing my stories inspired while
on the Camino, your walk with the Lord may grow stronger, richer, and more intimate.
Buen Camino,
Deacon Willie
